Here’s an interesting little article…. BEER IS GOOD FOR US!!
I think we could probably sneak in a few more than they recommend…. The few extra beers are for “mental” health!!
Mmmmmmm….. Delicious Pale Ale!
Beer drinkers rejoice: Your favorite brew may be healthier than you think.
For years, wine drinkers have indulged without guilt, reveling in the news that red wine can help protect against heart disease. Recent research shows that beer can also be good for what ails you, from reducing risk for broken bones to helping warding off diabetes and mental decline. It can even increase longevity, a large study suggests.
However, the key to tapping into beer’s benefits is moderation, meaning just one 12-ounce beer per day for women and two for men. Heavy drinking ups the threat of liver damage, some cancers, and heart problems. Bingeing on brewskis can also make you fat, since a 12-ounce regular beer has about 150 calories, while light beer has about 100.
Here are 10 surprising—and healthy—reasons to cheer about your next beer.
1. Stronger Bones
Beer contains high levels of silicon, which is linked to bone health. In a 2009 study at Tufts University and other centers, older men and women who swigged one or two drinks daily had higher bone density, with the greatest benefits found in those who favored beer or wine. However, downing more than two drinks was linked to increased risk for fractures.
For the best bone-building benefits, reach for pale ale, since a 2010 study of 100 types of beer from around the word identified these brews as richest in silicon, while light lagers and non-alcoholic beers contained the least.
2. A Stronger Heart
A 2011 analysis of 16 earlier studies involving more than 200,000 people, conducted by researchers at Italy’s Fondazion di Ricerca e Cura, found a 31 percent reduced risk of heart disease in those who quaffed about a pint of beer daily, while risk surged in those who guzzled higher amounts of alcohol, whether beer, wine, or spirits.
More than 100 studies also show that moderate drinking trims risk of heart attacks and dying from cardiovascular disease by 25 to 40 percent, Harvard reports. A beer or two a day can help raise levels of HDL, the “good” cholesterol that helps keep arteries from getting clogged.
3. Healthier Kidneys
A study in Finland singled out beer among other alcoholic drinks, finding that each bottle of beer men drank daily lowered their risk of developing kidney stones by 40 percent. One theory is that beer’s high water content helped keep kidneys working, since dehydration increases kidney stone risk.
It’s also possible that the hops in beer help curb leeching of calcium from bones; that “lost” calcium also could end up in the kidneys as stones.
4. Boosting Brain Health
A beer a day may help keep Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia at bay, researchers say.
A 2005 study tracking the health of 11,000 older women showed that moderate drinkers (those who consumed about one drink a day) lowered their risk of mental decline by as much as 20 percent, compared to non-drinkers. In addition, older women who downed a drink a day scored as about 18 months “younger,” on average, on tests of mental skills than the non-drinkers.
5. Reduced Cancer Risk
A Portuguese study found that marinating steak in beer eliminates almost 70 percent of the carcinogens, called heterocyclic amines (HCAs) produced when the meat is pan-fried. Researchers theorize that beer’s sugars help block HCAs from forming.
Scientists also have found that beer and wine contain about the same levels of antioxidants, but the antioxidants are different because the flavonoids found in hops and grapes are different.
A short rant about the TV……. By Rich from Truth Militia…….
I hate TV with a passion. I can’t even stand to hear the God-dam thing on anymore. TV is the one thing that destroys peoples health more than anything else in this country. TV watching usually goes hand in hand with eating as well… and usually it’s junk food. These Fat fucks got the remote in one hand… and the other hand has to remain free at all times to shove all the disgusting processed shit in their mouth that they have in front of them.
What’s interesting is that I hear from people all the time that say: ”I don’t watch a lot of TV.” But when you go over their house, the first thing they do is turn it on. They pull up their DVR and they have dozens and dozens of shows recorded… most of it… mindless JEWISH bullshit that isn’t even entertaining. In my opinion, most of these people are either incapable of having a discussion or they’re just completely addicted to the Jew Tube! Some of them actually need to have a TV on at all times… even to fall asleep.
Guys… It’s not that hard… turn off the Jew Tube. Just do it for one week (7 days of your life) and see how great you feel, then try it for a month, watch how your life starts to change. Your thinking evolves, you develop a passion for reading, your writing skills improve, your vocabulary improves, you become more active, a lot of people pick up new hobbies, you use your brain 10x times more than you used to and before you know it you won’t even need the dam thing anymore.
It’s AMAZING how great you feel, how liberated you are, how much more mental clarity and focus you have when the TV isn’t a part of your life. But most importantly, for those of you struggling with depression, anxeity, and stress… you’ll become a much, much happier person without it in your life. Trust me!
Kill Your TV!
Commentary by RICH (Truth Militia Radio)
Personally, I like to keep one eye on what the Jew box is telling the sheep….. But that’s only when I can stand it… Most of the time the TV drives me fucking mad! (as Rich describes)….. There’s more to life than staring at Jew pixels!!
When you go “surfing” through comment sections of “Jew-wise” and “Race-wise” sites you will notice people endlessly misunderstanding each other. I don’t really know why, but I’m going to show how you can be “Racist” and “Anti-Racist” at the same time……. “Nationalist” and “Anti-Nationalist” also!
Here we go:
I am a Racist: My definition of a “Racist” is a person who believes there are obvious differences between the human races. Therefore I am! It’s that simple, if that is your definition of who is a “Racist”…..
I am an Anti-Racist: My definition of a “Racist” is someone who doesn’t believe there is any such thing as “Race”, and would seek to integrate the “Races” together. Since I believe in preserving the “Races” and they believe in destroying the “Races”, then I am a true “Anti-Racist”!
The “Anti-Racist” label above is what I’d prefer to go by…. But it isn’t going to happen! So whatever, I can live with the “Racist” label…. Labels don’t bother me….
I can use a similar argument for myself being a “Nationalist” or an “Anti-Nationalist”…
I am a Nationalist in the sense that my Race is my Nation, and therefore I am a Nationalist. Nationalism implies racial loyalty and solidarity, so why wouldn’t I be a Nationalist?
I can also argue that I am against Nationalism. If I view all the so-called “White Nations” and their inherent nationalistic tendencies as artificial barriers between members of our race, then I could logically say that I oppose Nationalism and Nation-states… And that I’d prefer no “Nation-states” but one large White racial conglomerate. That also makes sense…. So now I’m “Anti-Nationalist”!
The point of this little exercise is that I don’t really care what label I’m given, so long as we all understand what side of the fence we are on! Definitions of words are not really that important. It is the underlying intentions that matter…. We should always do our best to understand the “vibe” of what someone is saying before condemning them if they say they are a certain label; like a “Racist” or a “Nationalist” and so on….. You might be against artificial Nationalist barriers and then condemn someone for saying they are a “Nationalist”, when they mean that their “Race is their Nation”…… I think I’ve made my point.
People do the same sort of thing regarding Christianity. Some in the “pro-white” and “anti-Jew” crowd love and promote Christianity; some hate it and attack it endlessly…. Usually it’s the CI crowd promoting their version of Christianity, while the other side attacks Judeo-Christianity (whatever the hell that is…. modern Jew run Christianity). The disagreement is usually over two different versionsof Christianity going under one broad banner – “Christianity”! The CI crowd hate Jew-run modern Christianity, and the “Anti-Christs” attack CI based on mostly Judeo-Christian dogma…… You can see how it’s mainly “semantics” which cause all the problems! I don’t care if someone believes in Christ, Odin, the Lepricorn, or the Tooth Fairy. If they are “pro-white” and “anti-Jew”, ABOVE ALL THE RELIGIOUS DOGMA, then that person is alright by me!
Take your pick, I don’t care! As long as you are pro-white and against the Jews!
Anyway, enough said. The point of this post was just to show how easy it is to argue that you are two contradictory things at the same time….. It’s obviously just a stupid little play on words, but people love beating each other over the head by twisting words and their meanings…… People do it constantly and it’s a waste of time…
Above: My “vibe”!!!!
It’s the “vibe” and the underlying thrust of what someone says that matters to me.
